A NEW LEVEL
Good morning Lord, and thank you for the gift of another wonderful day. Today Lord we seek your heart for personal growth in the weakest parts of our lives. Those areas where we are weak, we call on You to make us strong. We claim your Power to Keep us Focused. Help us to see what is beyond the vail, beyond what we can see. There are shadows within our lives that need more Light, more clarity, and more revelation. Shine into those areas Lord, and show us what needs to go, and what must remain. Only then will we become the people that You have always wanted us to be. Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Today I call the Family of Sunrise to Prayer and Fasting. God has given clear direction that He is about to carry Sunrise to a New Level. A greater impact than we have witnessed before. God will be moving people into position so that we will be equipped for the work ahead. This is the Word from the Lord for us: Don’t Be shaken or agitated by the strifes, temptations, and the cares of life. Fix your heart, mind, and soul on the standards of Christ. Never give place to the philosophy of this world, or the tricks of the enemy. Never allow new strategies, programs, or entertainment, to take your focus from the real reason we are here. For they are all designed to draw you into a spirit of compromise and distraction. Although we should always be willing to be at peace with others, it should never be at the cost of our principles and the Biblical standards of our God. Please join me in Prayer and Fasting as we eagerly embrace the Will of God for Sunrise and our Community. Be Blessed Pastor Eddie

LIFE-N-FOCUS: A NEW LEVEL
Today I call the Family of Sunrise to Prayer and Fasting. God has given clear direction that He is about to carry Sunrise to a New Level. A greater impact than we have witnessed before. God will be moving people into position so that we will be equipped for the work ahead. This is the Word from the Lord for us: Don’t Be shaken or agitated by the strifes, temptations, and the cares of life. Fix your heart, mind, and soul on the standards of Christ. Be Blessed Pastor Eddie In the journey towards a brighter and more positive life, it's essential to identify and eliminate habits that foster negative thinking. Negative thoughts can easily become a roadblock to personal growth and happiness. By recognizing and altering these patterns, you can pave the way for a more optimistic and fulfilling existence.
Comparing Yourself to Others When we constantly measure our worth against others, we overlook our unique qualities and accomplishments. Instead of dwelling on what you lack, focus on your progress and individual journey. Celebrate your achievements, regardless of how small they may seem. Overthinking and Dwelling on Mistakes Endless rumination over past mistakes can lead to a cycle of negativity. Acknowledge your errors, but also understand that they're stepping stones to growth. Instead of fixating on blunders, channel your energy into learning and moving forward. Surrounding Yourself with Negativity The company you keep significantly influences your mindset. Distance yourself from individuals who consistently exude pessimism and criticism. Surrounding yourself with positivity and supportive people can uplift your spirits and help you maintain an optimistic outlook. Fearing Failure The fear of failure can be paralyzing and hinder your progress. Instead of letting this fear hold you back, view failure as a stepping stone to success. Embrace failures as valuable lessons that provide insights into areas for improvement. This mindset shift can cultivate resilience and a more positive attitude. Unrealistic Perfectionism Striving for perfection can create an unattainable standard, leading to constant dissatisfaction. Instead of fixating on flawless outcomes, focus on doing your best within realistic boundaries. Understand that imperfections are natural and can contribute to growth and innovation. Key Takeaways Cultivating a positive mindset involves conscious effort and self-awareness. By recognizing and eliminating these five negative habits—comparing, overthinking, negativity, fearing failure, and perfectionism—you can pave the way for a brighter and more fulfilling life. Remember, it's okay to stumble along the way; what matters is your commitment to growth and your ability to foster positivity. Embrace each step of your journey, celebrating your successes and learning from your setbacks. LIFE-N-FOCUS: STAYING FOCUSED
Don’t Be shaken or agitated by the strifes, temptations, and the cares of life. Fix your heart, mind, and soul on the standards of Christ. Never give place to the philosophy of this world, or the tricks of the enemy. For they are all designed to draw you into a spirit of compromise and distraction. Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Then in the Gospel of John, he speaks of Jesus when he says; John 1:2 The same (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1:5 And the light shined into the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. For some people, There is something very fearful about the dark. But There are some Powerful Truths about the darkness that we need to realize, if we are ever going to embrace the Light. Darkness makes you believe things are there, that are not. Darkness Hides Things That Are Actually Right In Front of You. Light exposes exactly what’s there, but you must turn the Light on first. So how does this apply to your life today? There may be a way out of your current situation, an answer you may not be aware of, but you haven’t allowed the Light to shine on your problem. You haven’t sought the answer by calling on Jesus (The Light), to illuminate the pathway out. You need to get Jesus involved and in charge of your situation. The Answer may be right in front of you, or you may need to try a different way, but when you have no Light to guide you, you could stand in the same spot for years, when the way out is only a few steps away. Be Blessed Pastor Eddie BEYOND THIS LIFE
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The Way: A Direction. You may find yourself wandering through life real sure which way to go. You can find a path that leads to your purpose in Jesus. He will not only lead you through this life, but only He offers the Way BEYOND THIS LIFE. The Truth: The Standard This world has no shortage of opinions. Everyone has there own version of what they believe is Truth. But Jesus says that “HE IS TRUTH” not that He has the Truth or Speaks the Truth, but that He is Truth. He is called “THE WORD” in the Bible because every Word in the Bible is wrapped around one simple Truth; Jesus Christ is our Gift of Grace given to us that we might have Eternal Life, BEYOND THIS LIFE. The Life: a Purpose We are merely existing until we Have Jesus as our Personal Savior. He says to us in JOHN 10:10 that He came to give us an Abundant Life. A life of Purpose, Direction, and a Standard to live by. But He also Gave His life that we may have life, BEYOND THIS LIFE. Paul writes in the Book of Romans that all of us have fallen short of the Glory of God. We are all in need of the Way, the Truth, and the Life that Jesus offers. And “If we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that God raised His Son from the Dead, and offers us Eternal life, we shall be saved.” Now matter how messed up you think your life is. No matter how far you feel from God. You are never so far gone, that Jesus can’t reach your. YOU HAVE INSURANCE ON YOUR CAR, YOUR HOME, EVEN YOUR LIFE HERE ON EARTH, BUT DO YOU HAVE THE ASSURANCE OVER YOUR OWN SOUL BEYOND THIS LIFE. Call out to Him right now where you are. Tell Him that you believe that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life you need to bring Peace to your troubled heart. He will not only begin to help you today, but He will be with you even BEYOND THIS LIFE. THIS IS THE LIFE
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Granddaughter has a saying when we are all sitting on the porch soaking up the sun and resting between her many adventures. She will lay back and say “THIS IS THE LIFE” And that got me thinking this morning, What Is Life Really Suppose To Be? Is it really everything that we have made it? Has it come to the point where most of our days are consumed by so many meaningless things? Jesus came to give us and introduce us to Eternal Life. Not Eternal Worry, Not Eternal Regret, and certainly Not Eternal Stress and Anxiety. He came to give us Life, the Abundant Overflowing Life. If you have been swept away in all of the turmoil and division of this world then perhaps it is time for us to re-focus on what Jesus left us to do on this earth. Knowing what is going on in the world is important. Understanding how prophecy is being fulfilled is very important. But our Responsibility is not to just gain that understanding and then fret about it. We have the wonderful responsibility of speaking the Name of Jesus to a world that doesn’t know Him. And while we are doing that, we are also encouraged to live with the Peace and Joy that Jesus left us and paid the price for us to enjoy it. This world will pass away, and these problems will ultimately be consumed by the Power of the King of Kings. Meanwhile let’s enjoy our time in God’s Glorious creation , and perhaps at least once today, you can say the beautiful words of my precious granddaughter Caroline, THIS IS THE LIFE! WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Psa 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD,…. Psa 27:8 When You said, Seek my face; my heart said unto , Your face, LORD, will I seek. Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired You in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek You early: What are you looking for? Why are you here at this moment in your life? The answer isn’t “What are you looking for”, but rather “Who are you looking for”. You are looking for the real you. The you that got lost along the journey . And you will only find the real you by looking for the Lord first. You find Jesus, and you will find what your looking for. Praying With Authority
In every conflict, someone emerges in control. What we fail to understand is that God’s Children go into every conflict already in control. The problem is that we almost immediately surrender control to the enemy. Why? Because we do not understand Authority in Christ. When we pray, two things must be present. It must be In the Spirit,(by this I mean the Holy Spirit), and it must be with Authority. The following is from the booklet “God’s Creative Power” by Charles Capp. “ The Lord spoke to him in 1973 with these words; If My People would believe my Word, long prayers would not be necessary. Just speak and the Word will bring it to pass. For Prayer to be effective, My People must speak My Word by Faith. They must rise up and have dominion over the power of evil by Speaking The Word. My Word has not lost its Power, My people have lost their ability to speak it with Power and Authority. No Word of Mine is ever void of Power, it is only hindered when it is not Spoken.” The Authority Is In Jesus: Matthew 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: (things He spoke) Matthew 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, … Mark 1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authorityHe commands even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. Jesus Gives Us Access To That Authority: Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Mark 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work… Today We Pray With Authority Over Our: Thoughts, our Actions, Every Sickness and every Conflict. Lord we cast down every imagination and everything that exalts itself against You and Your Word. We also bring every thought into captivity in the Name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we claim Your Holy Benefits that forgives us of our sins, and heals us of all our diseases. You have redeemed our lives from ruin. Teach us oh Lord to speak from our hearts wellness and peace. May pleasant Words be the medicine that brings health to our bones. In Jesus Name there is Healing, there is Victory and there is Authority. Amen TIME TO MOVE ON
In our Spiritual walk of life, it is needful to evaluate where we are on a regular basis. That is why we talk so much about “Being in Position” . Everything we do in life comes down to four main factors; Where we are Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically. Just like : A Rocket cannot be launched until it is first put into position. Or A Ship cannot sail, if it is not in the water. A Believer cannot fully receive Blessings or pass on Blessings, if they are out of Spiritual Position.
2. It Is Time To Move Forward:
Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3. It Is Time To Find Real Peace and Purpose For Your Life:
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free |
