BEYOND THIS LIFE
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The Way: A Direction. You may find yourself wandering through life real sure which way to go. You can find a path that leads to your purpose in Jesus. He will not only lead you through this life, but only He offers the Way BEYOND THIS LIFE. The Truth: The Standard This world has no shortage of opinions. Everyone has there own version of what they believe is Truth. But Jesus says that “HE IS TRUTH” not that He has the Truth or Speaks the Truth, but that He is Truth. He is called “THE WORD” in the Bible because every Word in the Bible is wrapped around one simple Truth; Jesus Christ is our Gift of Grace given to us that we might have Eternal Life, BEYOND THIS LIFE. The Life: a Purpose We are merely existing until we Have Jesus as our Personal Savior. He says to us in JOHN 10:10 that He came to give us an Abundant Life. A life of Purpose, Direction, and a Standard to live by. But He also Gave His life that we may have life, BEYOND THIS LIFE. Paul writes in the Book of Romans that all of us have fallen short of the Glory of God. We are all in need of the Way, the Truth, and the Life that Jesus offers. And “If we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that God raised His Son from the Dead, and offers us Eternal life, we shall be saved.” Now matter how messed up you think your life is. No matter how far you feel from God. You are never so far gone, that Jesus can’t reach your. YOU HAVE INSURANCE ON YOUR CAR, YOUR HOME, EVEN YOUR LIFE HERE ON EARTH, BUT DO YOU HAVE THE ASSURANCE OVER YOUR OWN SOUL BEYOND THIS LIFE. Call out to Him right now where you are. Tell Him that you believe that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life you need to bring Peace to your troubled heart. He will not only begin to help you today, but He will be with you even BEYOND THIS LIFE.

THIS IS THE LIFE
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Granddaughter has a saying when we are all sitting on the porch soaking up the sun and resting between her many adventures. She will lay back and say “THIS IS THE LIFE” And that got me thinking this morning, What Is Life Really Suppose To Be? Is it really everything that we have made it? Has it come to the point where most of our days are consumed by so many meaningless things? Jesus came to give us and introduce us to Eternal Life. Not Eternal Worry, Not Eternal Regret, and certainly Not Eternal Stress and Anxiety. He came to give us Life, the Abundant Overflowing Life. If you have been swept away in all of the turmoil and division of this world then perhaps it is time for us to re-focus on what Jesus left us to do on this earth. Knowing what is going on in the world is important. Understanding how prophecy is being fulfilled is very important. But our Responsibility is not to just gain that understanding and then fret about it. We have the wonderful responsibility of speaking the Name of Jesus to a world that doesn’t know Him. And while we are doing that, we are also encouraged to live with the Peace and Joy that Jesus left us and paid the price for us to enjoy it. This world will pass away, and these problems will ultimately be consumed by the Power of the King of Kings. Meanwhile let’s enjoy our time in God’s Glorious creation , and perhaps at least once today, you can say the beautiful words of my precious granddaughter Caroline, THIS IS THE LIFE! WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Psa 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD,…. Psa 27:8 When You said, Seek my face; my heart said unto , Your face, LORD, will I seek. Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired You in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek You early: What are you looking for? Why are you here at this moment in your life? The answer isn’t “What are you looking for”, but rather “Who are you looking for”. You are looking for the real you. The you that got lost along the journey . And you will only find the real you by looking for the Lord first. You find Jesus, and you will find what your looking for. Praying With Authority
In every conflict, someone emerges in control. What we fail to understand is that God’s Children go into every conflict already in control. The problem is that we almost immediately surrender control to the enemy. Why? Because we do not understand Authority in Christ. When we pray, two things must be present. It must be In the Spirit,(by this I mean the Holy Spirit), and it must be with Authority. The following is from the booklet “God’s Creative Power” by Charles Capp. “ The Lord spoke to him in 1973 with these words; If My People would believe my Word, long prayers would not be necessary. Just speak and the Word will bring it to pass. For Prayer to be effective, My People must speak My Word by Faith. They must rise up and have dominion over the power of evil by Speaking The Word. My Word has not lost its Power, My people have lost their ability to speak it with Power and Authority. No Word of Mine is ever void of Power, it is only hindered when it is not Spoken.” The Authority Is In Jesus: Matthew 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: (things He spoke) Matthew 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, … Mark 1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authorityHe commands even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. Jesus Gives Us Access To That Authority: Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Mark 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work… Today We Pray With Authority Over Our: Thoughts, our Actions, Every Sickness and every Conflict. Lord we cast down every imagination and everything that exalts itself against You and Your Word. We also bring every thought into captivity in the Name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we claim Your Holy Benefits that forgives us of our sins, and heals us of all our diseases. You have redeemed our lives from ruin. Teach us oh Lord to speak from our hearts wellness and peace. May pleasant Words be the medicine that brings health to our bones. In Jesus Name there is Healing, there is Victory and there is Authority. Amen TIME TO MOVE ON
In our Spiritual walk of life, it is needful to evaluate where we are on a regular basis. That is why we talk so much about “Being in Position” . Everything we do in life comes down to four main factors; Where we are Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically. Just like : A Rocket cannot be launched until it is first put into position. Or A Ship cannot sail, if it is not in the water. A Believer cannot fully receive Blessings or pass on Blessings, if they are out of Spiritual Position.
2. It Is Time To Move Forward:
Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3. It Is Time To Find Real Peace and Purpose For Your Life:
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free BREAKING THE CYCLE OF WORRY & ANXIETY
Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. The word worry means to torment oneself with cares and anxieties. It seems that worry partners with other spirits like regret, stress, anxiety, and fear to bring the mind and body into captivity. Every time we worry, we are actually tormenting ourselves. No one else is making us do it or doing it to us--we’re doing it to ourselves. When we worry, we’re allowing our minds to dwell on difficult circumstances, overwhelming fears, and other stresses that are weighing us down. We’re consumed over actual things we’re facing or potential situations that may never occur. Worry causes extreme distress to all areas of our bodies. It prevents us from sleeping, impacts our relationships, affects our appetites, and causes us to perform poorly at work. We often tend to worry about what matters the most to us. It is also the place where we tend to trust God the least. We worry about things we’re stressed about. Something we’re facing at work or at home, with a friend or family member, or a fear that has overtaken us that we can’t seem to overcome. And when we are stressed, we look for ways to cope. Some choose denial and others choose substances abuse. Some seek isolation. Imagine that worry is a fire. The more we allow worry to occupy our thoughts, the more fuel we are putting on the it. The more we do this, the bigger the fire will get and the harder it will be to put out later. Most of our worry is directed toward things that might happen. The truth is that if you’re worrying about it, You are not controlling it, it is controlling you. It does nothing but make the problem bigger. What if you didn’t worry at all? How much extra time in the day would you have to devote to things that are positive and actually make a difference? The return on your investment would be unbelievable! What if productivity, Joy and Peaceful Living were a Fire. How much bigger would those things get if your poured as much energy into them as you do worry? Next week, we will take a look at what Jesus had to say about worrying and how we can stop this harmful cycle. How we can let go of worry and never let it have it’s way in our lives again.
KEYS TO THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE
Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. There is great Peace in Living in the overflow of God’s Blessings. Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you are called in one body; and be thankful. Steps To A Beautiful Life 1. Understand That it is the only Life you will ever have. 2. Remember what great comfort can be found in silence. 3. Live your life on good terms with all people. 4. Speak the truth softly but clearly; and listen to others, even to those who may lack understanding, for they too have a story to tell. 5. Never compare yourself with others, you may become envious ; for there will alway be those that seem greater and lesser than yourself, but God only made one like You. 6. So Be yourself. If God wanted you to be like someone else, He would have made you someone else. 7. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans, but always give Praise to God for them all. 8. Take kindly to wise counsel. 9. Learn how to accept God’s Forgiveness, Forgive others, and Forgive yourself. 10. Above all keep peace in your Heart. Always allow Peace to Prevail over fear, anger, and pride. With all thats broken and fractured today; it is still a beautiful world, and you can still have a Beautiful Life. Be Blessed Pastor Eddie ANGELS WATCHING OVER YOU
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psa 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. From the first moment when God set an angel with a flaming sword at the entrance to Eden, to guard its gates access to all that was defiled, we are assured that an unseen host of Heaven’s warriors are ever on guard for the welfare of those whose hearts are set upon the Lord. Paul writes in Hebrews that the angels are “all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” (Heb 1:14). And we have a few examples of this given to us elsewhere in the Scripture. When Daniel passed through the night unharmed in the Lion’s Den, he confessed openly, “My God knew that I was innocent, and he sent an angel to keep the lions from harming me” (Dan 6:22). Jesus gave a clear warning about how we treat children, “Do no harm to any of these little ones! I promise you that their angels are always with my Father in heaven” (Mat 18:10). Even Peter, when he was imprisoned received an encouraging visit in the night by an angel that help rescue him out of the prison! The promise is true – “He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” So today, we may say even as Elijah said to his trembling servant so long ago as the Syrian army surrounded his camp, “Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them” (2Ki 6:16). Be at peace, for you are in the care of God and the watchful eyes of the Guardian Angels! BE SAFE, BE STRONG, AND BE BLESSED AND HAVE A GREAT DAY Be Blessed Pastor Eddie PEACE WITH MYSELF
One of the great struggles in Life is finding Peace with who you are. Overcoming past mistakes and disappointments can be tough at times. The Apostle Paul knew how difficult it was to get Past the Past, and he offers us some really good advice. 1Co 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 1Co 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Everything begins with your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
(A New Man) Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Stop looking at where you’ve been, and look at what you are becoming. Notice that Paul’s “One Thing” had two parts. First he had forget some things, then he had to reach for some things.
DEALING WITH DISAPPOINTMENT
Psalms 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. When we experience disappointment, it’s because the expectations we had about something have gone unrealized. We’ve put all our hope into an experience, event, or maybe even a person, and it didn’t go as planned. Have you been there? Are you there now? Some things disappoint us and only affect us for a few hours. Other disappointments break our hearts in a very deep way. A relationship fails You don’t get the job or promotion. A loved one passes Basically, we become disappointed when there’s a break what we want to happen and what actually happened. Often, it’s disappointment that causes us to question God, because we wonder why our desires or hopes weren’t met. Sometimes you may even feel that He has actually let you down. We love to accept gifts or compliments, but who wants to accept disappointment? Sometimes it feels better to sit in the misery of our disappointment than to address it and move past it. Staying in this place somehow allows you to hold on to what you didn’t get and even daydream about what “could have been.” But we can’t continue to replay our pain over and over if we want to move past whatever it is that’s left us discouraged and disappointed. Accepting our disappointment doesn’t mean we approve of what or who disappointed us. It simply means that we recognize that it happened, and we don’t try to pretend like it didn’t. When you take this step, you are on your way toward finding true freedom from whatever is robbing your joy. Realize today that Disappointment is a sadness. And yes, even followers of Jesus experience disappointment and sadness. But just because we do, doesn’t mean we’re immature Christians. It doesn’t mean we don’t hope in Jesus, and it certainly doesn’t mean we’re weak. It just means we hoped for a different result than the one we got. So, what happened in your life? Did a situation occur that you weren’t expecting? Did someone’s words wound you and you can’t seem to forget them? Does a dream of yours seem to die over and over again and you don’t know why? Once you can name your disappointment, write it down. Please know one simple Truth from God’s Word today: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Even the disappointments. Don’t despise the Process. Let your disappointment be a Stepping Stone, not a tombstone. Allow them to take you higher and who knows but God if that disappointment was just another brick that is building a better you. Be Blessed Pastor Eddie |
